Cooking: From the Tenderheart cookbook. I got it before Christmas and have decided to cook my way through it.Sipping: Gin and tonic. The perfect easy summer drink.Reading: The Call of the Reed Warbler. I had to reborrow this as I didn’t make it all the way through before I had to return it the first time I borrowed it. Very happy to get it out again and finish it this time.Looking: For worms in the garden. I haven’t seen many, so probably need to work on the soil.Listening: To the traffic. Making: Meyer Lemon Bars, but with ordinary lemons for a thank-you function for our Church’s op shop volunteers. This is a very yummy, lemony slice. Highly recommended and pretty easy. The base and the topping are both whizzed up in the food processor. I don’t toast the coconut.Getting: The defects on the apartment fixed. All the little ones got done, but there a few that need specialised contractors to come in.Cooking: Baked ham. One for my family Christmas a few weekends ago and one on Christmas Day for Hubby’s family celebration.Sipping: Sleepy Tea before bed each evening.Reading: Creating a Missional Culture: Equipping the Church for the Sake of the World…

Taking stock of where I am this month with prompts by Pip. Making: the most of our temporary digs. I went to an exhibition at the ACMI, strolled down through Chinatown on my way to do some shopping, ate yummy pizza in Carlton, ran in Princes, Royal Park and Westgate Park and visited the State Library.
