Summarising in 25 words what was most noteworthy to me from the books I finished this month.

The Tombs of Atuan (Earthsea #3) – Ursula K. Le Guin
Rereading some teenage favourites. This is focused on the priestess Tenar, Ged makes an appearance late in the book and turns her world upside down.

The Hidden LIfe of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate: Discoveries from a Secret World – Peter Wohlleben
For everything you didn’t know you wanted to know about the fascinating communal life of trees. You’ll never look at trees the same way again.

The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters – Priya Parker
Good ideas for crafting more meaningful gatherings. Begin with why, then plan intentionally. Going with the flow is not an option which honestly seems hard.

Matrix – Lauren Groff
Groff has a poetic way with words, but her story crafting didn’t grab me this time. Challenges are resolved too easily, important details skipped over.
