I’ve now been to Paris twice, spending a full week both times. There are so many sites to see, but that must be balanced with time to stroll or sit and soak up the ambience. Not to mention making time to try all.the.food. Here’s my list of all the things that didn’t quite make the cut, ready for the day I go back to Paris.
- Palais Garnier. It was on my list for this trip, but the tours weren’t running on the days I was there.
- Saint Martin Canal – bike, walk or cruise
- Centre Pompidou – I ran out of time to do this on my recent trip
- Picnic in the beautiful parks if the weather is good (we haven’t had the weather for a full picnic when we’ve been)
- L’As du Fallafel
- Bibliothèque nationale de France
- La Coulée Verte de Paris
- Tour D’Argent – a big splurge
- A concert at Sainte Chapelle
- Have a drink at Cafe de Flore
- Take another cooking class (croissants or macarons?)
- Musee Curie
- Père Lachaise Cemetery
- Visit Deyrolle
- Cabaret at Au Lapin Agile or Moulin Rouge
- Petite Ceinture
- Try more pastries. The search for my favourite Paris Brest?
- Paris wine walk
- Enjoy mint tea and pastries at the Grand Mosque Cafe
- Day Trip to Chateau de Fontainebleau
Have you done any of these?
