So I’ve decided to join San’s NaBloPoMo challenge again this year. I was umming and ahhing whether to this year—it’s a lot, but I’m doing it! I intend on doing my regular type posts and supplementing with some of San’s Five Things Prompts as a push forward in completing my 50 lists, as well as some word-lite photo posts. On my old blog I had a little series where I posted a photo with a 25 word caption which was kind of fun, so maybe I’ll bring that back. For my regular readers and commenters, know that I really appreciate your presence here but feel free to click read all and pass on by in silence if the extra posting clogs up your feed. For me, I aim to split my time 20:40 between writing here and reading/commenting on other blogs.
And that’s my first post done.

All the best, Melissa! Looking forward to reading your posts!
Thanks, Catrina.
I was umming and awing too about whether to join NABLOPOMO this year. I look forward to your lists of 5. My goal is short posts, knowing it’s a lot of reading. I have a handful of stories that I have not shared yet.
You are the best storyteller. I look forward to reading more.
Yay! I’m glad you joined. I’m also going to do a lot of “5 things” posts this month- I think it’s a great idea.
It’s good to have a standard format to fall back on. I have put the titles for various 5 things posts in my drafts folder, so now I just need to fill them in.
Go Melissa! (my official capacity in NaBloPoMo is “cheerleader”) *waves pompoms*
You excel in that role. Although I would certainly read more posts from you.
So happy to have you in my inbox throughout November.
Excited to hear about your life and plans.
Here is to a fun NaBloPoMo.
You are a champion NaBloPoMo-er.
I’m looking forward to having more content from everyone, I always enjoy your posts.
Right back at you!
Yes, you can do this! Twenty-five words is perfect for all the people trying to read all these posts. Ha!
25 words are easy to write and easy to read. I just have to remember to take some decent photos to pair with the words.
I never done this but will be cheering you all on!
Hi Melissa! It’s nice to meet you! I’m joining in NaBloPoMo for the first time, and it was a very last-minute decision! I’m looking forward to reading your posts!
Good luck to you for NABloPoMo. It is lots of fun, but a big commitment.
One post down — woot woot! I look forward to keeping up with you this month!
I’m looking forward to it too, although wondering how I’ll find the time this time around. We’ll see!
I guess shorter posts all round make both the writing and the reading easier.
So excited you’ll be joining us again this year, Melissa, especially since NaBloPoMo brought you back to blogging three years ago and look where you’re now! You’re so consistent that I don’t have any doubt that you’ll be coasting through this month! 🙂 Looking forward to your posts and connecting more again.
It’s great to be back, and thank you for hosting again
