"Instructions for living a life: Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it." – Mary Oliver

WITL: Thursday, 4th May

6:37 Wake up. I did not get a great sleep again. I resolved to go and get vitamin D and Mg today. I stopped taking vitamin D over the summer but probably need it again now. Lectio 365. Prayer.

7:00 Get up. Put on the steam oven. Get dressed. Current Temperature 9.0C. Forecast: Top 17C. Slight chance of a shower. I put the porridge on to cook and do my bible reading. Eat breakfast and read my morning book.

7:40 Planning. Do some research for a possible outing on Friday and our upcoming holiday. Update my exercise log.

8:43 Clean teeth. Make bed. Clean kitchen.

I snap a picture of my notes re my proposed running route.

9:00 Read blogs. Today is an easy 8km, so I usually try to run some more of my local streets. I log into Citystrides and plan a running route. that will complete a few more streets. Get ready. Pick podcast.

The roundabout at New and Dendy Streets. Five entrances and the railway line runs through the middle. It was very confusing the first time I drove through.

10:29 Run

My favourite hydration drink. Low glucose, high electrolyte.

11:30 Home. Rehydrate with a hydration drink. I don’t normally need it for an easy run, but I already have a headache. Eat an apple. Once I cool down, I have a shower. Put on the washing.

12:15 Lunch. Leftovers. Read and comment on blogs.

13:09 Dry hair.

13:30 Walk to the chemist to pick up the vitamins and some Fisio cream for Hubby. Stop at Petbarn, but our worming tablets are out of stock.

14:45 Work. This is my other small job looking after the accounts and invoicing for a superfund.

Heading to the dog park at the end of the street.

16:30 Check the garden for pests, especially the citrus for citrus gall wasps. They are all clear. Walk Riley.

Riley is tired out after his walk.

17:13 Read blogs. Our son was supposed to be home for dinner and possibly with his girlfriend. At 5:30 I text to see if he’s going to be home, but he’s been held up at work. He’ll need dinner later.

17:43 Fold washing. Tidy up. Foam Rolling. Start dinner. Fish with this sauce and veggies tonight

The reflection in the door. Plates ready to fill. Just waiting for the fish to be cooked.

18:54 Eat dinner. The sauce is yummy. It’s a keeper for us. Watch Reacher on TV.

8:10 Our son arrives home and a bit later his girlfriend arrives. She’s had dinner so our son’s fish in the steam oven to cook and the veggies to heat up. Chat with them for a while.

21:19 Bath and read my book.

22:09 Lights out.
