I’m bringing back a series from my old blog, pairing a photo with 25 words.

Finally, the rain stopped and we could get out for a walk with Riley. It was a race to get home before more rain came.

Oooh it’s pretty!
I love the sea views down here at my parents place
I absolutely love “beating the rain” – managing to sneak in an activity out of doors between rain events. There’s something almost magical about the timing of it all. Plus, I feel so accomplished to have done my things outdoors and then I can really sit back and appreciate being INSIDE while it’s raining.
Since we are on a long weekend, we didn’t have to try to fit it in between activities, we could just bolt out as soon as we saw a window of opportunity.
Beautiful photo- and I like this exercise, pairing a photo with 25 words. Nice idea!
I actually got the idea from another blog, way back when, so I couldn’t tell you which one.
Riley is such a lucky dog to get out when he did!
We are at my parents so he is stuck outside (luckily they have a shed where he can sleep and we keep the door open to that during the day), and with the rain we were not sitting out in the garden so he needed some time with us.
It is such a good feeling to beat the rain! That is a pretty photo!
You always have amazing scenery in your photos. Dodging more rain was clutch.
I am at my parents house at the moment, so we have real ocean views to enjoy as against the bay views at home.
So pretty!
Thanks!
The beach on a rainy day can be so beautiful!
I love the beach on wild days.
A perfect companion commentary to your moody photo.
I have always been intrigued by Australia, and actually have some cousins there. So I hope to learn more about your country through your blog. Thank you for stopping by mine!
Welcome, I hope that you find my blog interesting
Oh this is a fun formate. Love it.
The beach looks so good. And the benches too. When it’s not raining obviously.
It helps to have a post format that is quick to put together during NaBloPoMo. I just need to make sure I am taking photos.
