I’m joining in Hannah’s photo challenge to find photos in my stash that match the monthly theme. March’s theme was Circles, so I’m just squeezing it in before the end of the month.

The first photo is of G, E and S panning for gold at Sovereign Hill in January 2007. Sovereign Hill is an open air museum in Ballarat and depicts life in Ballarat in the first ten years after gold was discovered in 1851. I used to have a little glass vial of gold dust I panned for at Sovereign Hill as a kid.

These are white chocolate truffles the kids and I made for their teachers Christmas presents in 2008.

The moon, obviously, taken in 2009.

There were so many interesting rock formations in Monument Valley, including this round hole. Taken in 2009 on our road trip in the US.

The kids in front of the Olympic rings at Whistler. January 2012.

We hosted a Korean exchange student in 2013 and we all made some sushi rolls together.

We went to the light festival in the city in 2018 and this was one of the installations.
