  1. Oh, I’m 100% doing this for 2025. As the year goes by, I’m going to note the things that make it wonderful! What a lovely way to remember things!

    1. I usually just go through my photos and blog/journal at the end of the year, but it would probably make the whole thing easier if I kept a list throughout the year. Although I do like being able to review the year.

  2. Loved reading through the list and was especially happy to read #99. Congrats to all of you.

I fell in love with your list last year so I copied and made my own list. And I will keep doing it in 2025 as well. Such a great way to remember a year.

    Happy New Year

    1. I’m glad you made your own list this year. I will be popping over there.

  3. Ooooh you had a child get engaged!! This must be a new development! What an exciting new milestone for your family. My in-laws are some of my favorite people. My parents commented last week when we saw them about how they have lucked out with such great sons- and daughters-in-law.

I should make a list like this as well. One really positive development I didn’t mention in my 2024 survey is that we found a new church home in 2024 and the boys started to attend Sunday school which they both love. I had really hemmed and hawed about where our family belonged so am glad I finally made a choice. We’ve been really happy there, and it’s walking distance from our house which is great when the weather is nice enough for us to walk.

    1. Yes, it’s very exciting. Will include in tomorrows Good Things post.

I’m so glad your family has food a new church home and within walking distance. It can be difficult. G and I had to find a new church home when we moved (30 years for me at our previous church and almost 50 for G) and it was hard but where we landed feels right and I love being able to walk now.

  4. What a great year! And an engagement, how very exciting. Congrats to everyone!!!
