List #5: Things I Have No Intention of Ever Doing

Paraglider at the beach last Friday

Another list for my 50 lists project. These are all the things I have no intention of ever doing.

  • Paragliding, hang gliding and any other “gliding.”
  • Sail across an ocean on a ship
  • Sky diving
  • Base Jumping
  • Ride a motorbike
  • Heli-skiing
  • Tight-rope walking
  • Bungee Jumping
  • Cage diving with sharks
  • Loop Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and any other high drop rides
  • Ride in a racing racing car
  • Go into space
  • Get arrested

You may have guessed from this list that I’m not a thrill-seeker, I hate heights and I get all kinds of travel sick.

Are you a thrill seeker? What kinds of things do you never want to do?

I love travel too, but not thrill seeking. I may need to write another list of the activities with heights that I have managed to get up the courage for.

I guess I am a thrill seeker… Everything on your list sounds fun (except for getting arrested!) Of your list I have done the following:

    Sky diving
    Ride a motorbike
    Bungee Jumping
    Cage diving with sharks
Loop Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror and any other high drop rides
Ride in a racing racing car (does go-karts count?)

    Bring it on!

You are a trill seeker, WOW! My daughters both loved the big rides when we were at Disneyland and they were only 8 and 10. Went on everything. Luckily I had the excuse of needing to stay with our son who was under the required height.

I agree with 100% of those things! Who is deliberately putting themselves in the path of a shark!?!? That being said, I do live in the United States, so it’s only a matter of time until I’m arrested for something!

I have no desire to be arrested, ride on a motorbike or racing car, or walk on a tightrope. I would be okay with swoopy rollercoasters, except that nowadays they make me nauseous (so sad!). Some of the other things on your list are things I probably wouldn’t seek out, but I would do them if the situation arose. I don’t know what “heli skiing” is but it sounds dangerous- and I would add regular skiing to the list. I just know I would break my leg!

Heli skiing is when you get dropped off by a helicopter at the top of a mountain and ski down. Usually crazy difficult and outside the patrolled ski zone.
