Tenderheart Cook #73

I’m cooking through the Tenderheart Cookbook.

Tomato And Gruyere Clafoutis

I’ve made a sweet clafoutis before but never a savoury one. You can find the RECIPE HERE.

The Quick Lowdown:

  • Ingredients: olive oil, grape tomatoes, garlic clove, salt, black pepper, thyme. red wine vinegar, white sugar, milk, eggs, plain flour, gruyere
  • Prep-work: There was very little prep work. Cutting and squeezing the tomatoes, picking leaves and then mixing up the batter
  • Dirty dishes: Cutting board, knife, bowl, baking dish
  • Taste: Yes. This is very rich and yummy.
  • Family-friendly: Yes
  • Regular rotation worthy: Maybe. It has a lot of dairy which isn’t great for me.

  1. I can’t have much dairy either BUT this does look amazing.
