I had my second Shingles vax a couple of weeks ago and once again was laid up with fever and aches and pains. I took a while to start to feel better and nearly fainted in the gym the following week, but I have managed to get back into running, completing fours runs, all easy, but done. Luckily for me this is long lasting vaccination so I don’t need to think about it again.
Between coming back from holidays and not feeling the best, my motivation to get things done has been pretty low. I need to turn this around and get back into some better routines. I can’t believe the month is nearly finished … must do better in August.
While we were away, our son started a puzzle on the dining room table. It became a whole family project, our oldest daughter was especially keen. Apart from the three missing pieces, we completed it, and she is requesting more. I’m thinking we get some heavy card to make them on so we can move them off the table easily when we have people over.
On Monday, we saw Germany play Morocco in the FIFA Women’s world cup. Germany completed a systematic demolition of Morocco, winning 6-0, with three own goals by Morocco. Germany played very patient and controlled soccer. It was a very different game to Australia vs Nigeria which we watched on TV last night. Sadly, they lost that match, but they needed to tighten their defence. We’ve been enjoying watching the women’s world cup, the skill and athleticism of the women are phenomenal.
Do you enjoy doing puzzles? Have you been following the FIFA Women’s World Cup?

It’s always hard to get back into a regular routine after vacation/travel. I hope you’ll find your groove again soon.
That puzzle is really cool! I haven’t done a puzzle in a while (no space to keep it and work on it over time).
I have not been following the FIFA World Cup (although I usually do), it has completely slipped my mind this time. I am excited the German team won 🙂
The German team really did execute a efficient, precision demolition.
